Objective
This two day workshop will raise awareness of the ‘Hidden Resources’ often over-looked by corporate strategists when assessing the capabilities and capacity of a Company. Many business processes contain activities that do not contribute to the Value generated by the organisation and if removed, will improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of the resources used. Participants will learn how the concepts of Continuous Improvement have been used as a springboard to drive and implement an effective, positive culture change with a corresponding improvement in performance, leading to shorter lead times, lower stocks and higher product quality. This adds an extra dimension to the search for acquisition synergies.
By the end of the course, participants will have an appreciation of Improvement philosophies and how Continuous Improvement, including the application of some of the contents of the ‘Lean Toolbox’, has been successfully introduced to high performing organisations today.

By the end of this EIIL Masterclass™ workshop, participants will have developed their own personal approach to acquiring knowledge from experienced seniors in their own or other organisations. They will have practiced and refined this in order to obtain practical insight into the characteristics of a continuous improvement culture and the potential obstacles to its implementation and sustainability.
Time will be given for participants to reflect on how they might take the first steps towards continuous improvement in their own workplace.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is designed to meet the needs of engineers and technologists with five to eight years of post-graduate industrial experience and some early supervisory experience, including those in project management roles.
The workshop will also benefit managers from other disciplines in either general, functional or project management roles, who need to lead teams towards more effective low-waste business operations.
The workshop will be conducted in English. A good working knowledge of English is a pre-requisite to effective participation in this EIIL Master- class™ workshop.
